Community Engagement Coordinator

The Community Engagement Coordinator (CEC) is an integral part of the PSSO staff team. They work collaboratively to ensure the development and enhancement and sustainability of all areas of the mission – support services, education and research. Although the CEC works with a team to achieve growth throughout the region, they have a designated area of focus as set out in the employment contract. The CEC recognizes that the continuous development of community partnerships, resources and volunteers are the keys to the success of the organization serving the community. The CEC facilitates the strengthening of existing relationships and forms new relationships with a view to reach every person living with Parkinson’s disease in Southwestern Ontario. As with all positions at PSSO, the Community Engagement Coordinator does what needs to be done to put people with Parkinson’s first.
