Parkinson Society Southwestern Ontario will host the 2024 West Region Living Well Conference on April 26th 2024 in Sarnia. This is one of four PSSO conferences happening in Spring 2024. We are thrilled to offer a local day of learning, enjoyment, and fellowship to those in Lambton, Kent, Essex and beyond!
This year we are happy to welcome Dr. Elizabeth Lounsbury and Angela Raffoul to speak.
Dr. Lounsbury is a neurologist who practices at Bluewater Health in Sarnia, Ontario. She will be speaking on Non-Motor Symptoms and their impact on PD patients. In the afternoon Angela, a Registered Social Worker with the VON, will focus on Effective Chronic Pain Management. Lunch and coffee/tea will also be provided!

Angela Raffoul
Angela Raffoul is a Registered Social Worker with a BSW and MSW from the University of Windsor. She is currently a counsellor with the VON Chronic Pain Program, servicing clients from Windsor to Sarnia. Recognizing that each person is unique, she tailors her approach to meet the client’s needs by using her training primarily in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Pain Reprocessing Therapy. Angela has over 8 years of experience working with individuals and groups. She is committed to using evidence-based approaches to best support the people she works with. Angela’s areas of expertise include: chronic pain, building healthy relationships, stress management, trauma-informed care, and mental health.
