Join us for an introduction to mindfulness workshop! Mindfulness is a skill that allows us to become aware of the present moment while acknowledging and accepting our thoughts, feelings and sensations, often helping to relieve anxiety and stress.

Wanita Pelley is a registered Social Service Worker trained in Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction, Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy, and Animal Assisted Therapy. During this workshop, Wanita will guide us through a mindfulness meditation and discuss how to seamlessly adopt mindfulness into our everyday lives.
