After travelling across Canada, the Spinning Wheels Tour is making a stop at Western—and you’re invited to be part of the journey.
On September 21, meet members of the Tour and hear stories from the road, the communities they’ve connected with, and the experiences that have shaped their travels across the country.
Then, follow the journey from the road into the lab with a tour of Parkinson’s research taking place throughout the Western Interdisciplinary Research Building. Meet current research students, explore their work, and get a closer look at the research happening behind the scenes.
It’s an afternoon where lived experience, community, and research come together, connecting those raising Parkinson’s awareness across Canada with those working to better understand the disease.
Light snacks and refreshments will be provided.
