This class offers a gentle, therapeutic approach to yoga for individuals living with Parkinson’s. All movements can be performed from a seated position, and will support mobility, balance, coordination, and strength. Breathwork and rhythm are woven throughout to support nervous system regulation and motor function, along with guided relaxation to reduce stress and support overall well-being. With a focus on breath, body, and an element of fun, the class is designed to feel safe, engaging, and adaptable for all participants.

For our Chair Yoga for Parkinson’s program, we are excited to be partnering with Chloe Chaput, a Clinical Ayurvedic Specialist and Yoga Instructor with a focus on nervous system health, mobility, and accessible movement. Living with an autoimmune condition (Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis), she brings a personal understanding of how movement, breath, yoga, and Ayurveda can support quality of life. These practices have helped her manage pain, increase mobility, improve balance and proprioception, support bone density and strength, regulate stress, and improve sleep. Her goal is to create classes that are accessible, supportive, and enjoyable, meeting each person where they are.
