Move with purpose. Train with joy. Reclaim your confidence and strength.
This specialized movement class is designed to help you feel better through movement while managing Parkinson’s symptoms. We meet you where you are each class, focusing on what matters most—keeping you strong, steady, and confident in daily life.
What to Expect
Each session is structured to challenge both body and brain in ways that directly address Parkinson’s symptoms:
Seated Foundation:
We begin seated to warm up safely and build confidence. Expect coordination drills, postural awareness, and controlled movements to engage your nervous system and establish key movement patterns.
Standing Functional Work:
Progress to standing exercises focused on real-world movements you use every day, including:
- BIG, exaggerated movements to counteract small or shuffling patterns
- Gait training with varied speeds and directions to improve walking confidence
- Balance and vestibular work with head movements, weight shifts, and multi-directional exercises
- Functional strength using light weights (optional) to support independence
Our Core Principles
Safety First: Modifications are always provided. Move at your level and progress at your pace.
Challenge with Support: Balance and coordination are safely challenged—this is where growth happens.
Big and Bold: Think BIG, move BIG, and be deliberate.
Fun & Functional: Movement is medicine, but it’s also energizing and community-focused—with music and encouragement throughout.
